We often measure courage by the battles we fight. Scripture reminds us to measure it also by the battles we refuse to fight. There is strength in restraint, wisdom in patience, and peace in recognizing that not every conflict is ours to win. Sometimes the bravest words we can hear are: “Return to your house... for this thing is from Me.” When we stop fighting what cannot yet be changed, we make room for the work that only time, truth, and God can accomplish.
